Oregon State Police (OSP) troopers stopped Manuel Martinez-Pardo, 24, about 10:45 a.m. on Interstate 5 north of Medford near milepost 37 for traveling over the speed limit.
During the stop, the suspect consented to a search of his 2001 Honda Civic, troopers said, and an OSP drug-detecting dog found several packages of methamphetamine and cocaine.
OSP estimated that the approximate six pounds of meth found has a street value of $96,000, and the 1.6 pounds of cocaine discovered is worth about $15,000.
Martinez-Pardo was taken into custody and lodged in the Jackson County Jail. He was charged with possession, delivery and manufacturing of both cocaine and methamphetamine, a news release stated.
OSP Drug Enforcement Section detectives will continue the investigation.
