According to the OSP news release, Larsons’ 1980 Ford F150 was hit on the left side, and both vehicles were extensively damaged.
Larson was seriously injured and transported by LifeFlight helicopter to Legacy Emanuel Hospital, OSP reported. Malin was not injured.
Preliminary investigation indicates both drivers were driving under the influence of alcohol. Malin was taken into custody and transported to the Clackamas County Jail. At the time the news release was issued, Larson had not yet been cited but troopers say charges are pending.
Troopers from the Portland Area Command office are continuing the investigation.
