A 30-year old Portland man was arrested at the Corbett, Oregon home of his brother where Multnomah County Special Investigations Unit (SIU) detectives found a sophisticated marijuana growing operation with high-quality plants that could produce almost $500,000 worth of product every three months.
According to a news release, SIU raided the home of Kevin Phillip Anderson, 26, at 39720 E. Historic Columbia River Highway in Corbett about 9:30 p.m., August 1. Detectives seized 93 mature marijuana plants, 116 starter plants, and sophisticated grow-lighting, ventilation, and electrical equipment.

Jeff Steven Anderson, 30, of Portland, was taken into custody and booked into the Multnomah County Detention Center. He was charged with first-degree manufacturing of a controlled substances – a Class A felony, first-degree delivery of a controlled substance – a Class B felony, and first-degree possession of a controlled substance – also a Class B felony. He has since been released, deputies said.
Kevin Anderson, the homeowner and younger brother of the man arrested, is apparently in California and was not arrested.
