PESHAWAR, Pakistan -- At least four people were killed and five injured Friday when a suicide bomber blew himself up at the home of Pakistan's political affairs minister.
The explosion occurred at the house of Amir Muqam in the northwestern city of Peshawar, the Press Trust of India reports.
Initial reports indicated Muqam was not hurt but his elder brother was among those injured.
In addition to his position as political affairs minister, Muqam also is provincial chief of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League Party.
He told the PAK Tribune that two of his guards were among the dead.
"I am not scared. I have survived two attacks in the past," Muqam said.
