STAVROPOL, Russia -- Five people remained hospitalized with injuries sustained when an explosion ripped through a Russian passenger bus, killing two women.
In all, three men and four women were taken to the hospital, ITAR-TASS reported Sunday. Two of the injured passengers were later released.
The news agency reported that the blast was likely caused by a bomb left on a back seat.
The bus, traveling from Pyatigorsk to Stavropol, was carrying 31 people.
