MADRID -- More than 60 people were arrested during a 10-day operation in connection with a Spanish child pornography ring.
Spanish police, in cooperation with authorities from the United States, Germany and New Zealand, culminated a 2-year investigation with the arrest of four Russian nationals in the seaside resort towns of Lloret de Mar and Benidorm, the BBC reported Sunday.
The arrests of those individuals, who may have made as much as $280,000 from an Internet child pornography business, netted information on 59 other distributors and clients, the BBC said.
A similar operation in July resulted in 66 arrests.
