AMSTERDAM, Netherlands -- Officials arrested three men in the Netherlands on suspicion of plotting an attack at a new year's party on the Erasmus Bridge in Rotterdam.
Police arrested two Moroccan-Dutch citizens and a Sudanese national over what intelligence officials said was a plot to commit "a violent action," Expatica said Thursday.
Public prosecutors did not elaborate on the details of what the "violent action" entailed.
Celebrants gathered in droves for a new year's party on the Wilhelmina pier near the Erasmus Bridge without incident, police officials said.
