LONDON - A marriage in Britain was annulled after it was revealed that the bride and groom were actually twin siblings who had been separated at birth.
The bizarre situation involved an unidentified couple who were apparently unaware that they were brother and sister, The Telegraph said Friday.
Parliament was told about the situation last month as they debated legislation that would give adopted children full access to birth records. The House of Lords is to vote on the bill Tuesday.
The details of the marriage of the twins were kept under wraps. It wasn't clear where or when it took place nor was it revealed how the star-crossed couple met.
