ZUNYI CITY, China -- Snow and ice were suspected of contributing to a bus crash in China Tuesday that left at least 25 people dead and 13 more injured, authorities said.
Two of the injured were listed in critical condition, Xinhua reported.
The state-run news agency said the bus plunged 120 feet into a valley after sliding off a mountain road near Zunyi City in Guizhou Province.
The road was covered with ice at the time of the accident and investigators were trying to determine whether traffic officials should have kept the bus idled because of the poor weather conditions, Xinhua said.
