SPONDON, England - An English pensioner who got into an argument over a parking spot died of a heart attack within 25 minutes of an alleged revenge attack.
Bernard Gilbert, 79, got into an argument with 26-year-old Zoe Forbes in Spondon, England, after she allegedly stole his parking spot, leaving the woman shaken and in tears, the Daily Mail reported Monday.
Forbes immediately called her husband, Mark, who had a friend contact a police officer acquaintance to get Gilbert's home address, the British newspaper said.
Nottingham Crown Court heard Monday that Forbes, 40, and his brother, Steven, 22, then drove to Gilbert's home and threw half a brick through the bedroom window. The pensioner died of a heart attack within 35 minutes.
Mark Forbes, Zoe Forbes and Steven Forbes all denied manslaughter as their trial began. Steven Forbes confessed to throwing the brick and admitted a charge of criminal damage, however.
