BAGHDAD -- U.S. military officials in Iraq said they are studying a captured video that appears to show children being taught terrorist tactics.
Investigators said they believe the tapes show the mostly preteen boys in "the process of indoctrination and training that starts early to ensure they grow up to become future terrorists when they become of age," U.S. Navy Rear Adm. Gregory Smith, a U.S. spokesman said.
The insurgent group "wants to poison the next generation of Iraqis," Smith told The New York Times.
The boys are seen simulating kidnapping of a man on a bicycle and another in a car in what appears to them to be a game but they are reportedly armed with real guns.
