MUQDADIYA, Iraq - At least six people were killed and 18 wounded in a suicide bombing at an outdoor market in Iraq's Diyala province Wednesday, police reported.
Police Col. Ragheb al-Omairi, a spokesman of Diyala military operation, said the attack happened in Muqdadiya and most of the casualties were civilians, CNN said.
CNN reported six dead in the incident while the BBC reported seven had died.
In other reported attacks, four policemen died in Mosul and a suicide car bomber killed a woman in Talafar near the Syrian border, the BBC reported.
Three U.S. soldiers died in a roadside bomb explosion Wednesday, the military said in a statement.
Iraqi officials said 15 policemen were killed and 45 others were injured Tuesday in eastern Baghdad when an insurgents' truck fitted with a rocket launcher exploded.
