BAGHDAD - Four British soldiers were wounded in car-bomb explosions in Barsa, Iraq, a British military spokesman said.
Two of the British soldiers were wounded and their patrol vehicle was damaged when their military unit was the target of an explosives-filled car attack Friday in Al-Zubair, KUNA reported.
The other two British soldiers were wounded Thursday in a car-bomb attack on their military unit near the Basra airport, the spokesman said.
Two Iraqi police officers died and six others were wounded Friday when an explosives-filled car exploded in central Tikrit, security officials said.
Also, a U.S. Marine was killed in action Thursday against "enemy forces" in Anbar province, the Multi-National Force said Friday in a statement, which didn't detail the incident.
In Baghdad, five Iraqis men were wounded in an explosion near a bakery that shook Qathiq Square, security officials said.
