DAQUQ, Iraq -- The bodies of three men, who apparently were shot to death, have been found in the Iraqi governorate of Kirkuk, police said Monday.
While police uncovered the unidentified bodies in Daquq, oil expert Abdul Latif Saleh was killed in the country's al-Ghazaliya District, al-Sumaria reported.
The car bombing that killed Saleh followed a mass burial Sunday in Iraq's Diyala province, a medical source said. Details regarding the bombing weren't reported.
The anonymous source said provincial authorities had buried 40 bodies of people who were never identified or claimed by others.
Those buried Sunday were victims of various attacks in the Diyala capital of Baquba that occurred more than a year ago, al-Sumaria said.
