JERUSALEM -- Israeli Prime Minister-designate Binyamin Netanyahu has selected three Likud Party members of the Knesset for his Cabinet, officials said Monday.
Michael Eitan and Yossi Peled were named ministers without portfolios while Moshe Kahlon was named sole minister for communications, The Jerusalem Post reported.
Peled was also told he would have a seat on Israel's Security Cabinet while Eitan was given the additional duties of improving services for citizens, computerization and the Internet, the newspaper said.
Senior Likud members have voiced misgivings that they are being passed over for ministerial posts, which were handed to other coalition-member parties, and so Netanyahu has created new positions for them, analysts said.
