KIEV, Ukraine -- A spokesman for Ukraine Interior Minister Vasyl Tsushko, who recently suffered a heart attack, said the official's condition has deteriorated in Germany.
Spokesman Kostyatyn Stohnyi said Monday the minister spoke in a very weak voice when contacted by telephone on Sunday, Russia's Interfax news agency reported.
"The doctors took away the receiver and said that the minister was getting worse," Stohnyi said.
Tushko was hospitalized in Kiev after suffering a heart attack on May 26. He was taken to a German clinic when his condition worsened May 31.
