LISBON, Portugal - The parents of missing British girl Madeleine McCann said authorities may never find their 4-year-old daughter.
The parent's concession was the first time the couple publicly admitted that their daughter may never been seen again, The Times of London reported Friday.
Portuguese authorities this week followed up a tip that a missing British girl's body was buried under some rocks.
Police, however, have yet to turn up any trace of the girl.
Madeleine McCann was reported missing May 4 from the Ocean Club in Praia da Luz. Portuguese detectives searched the complex and brought in dogs to track her scent.
Her parents have remained in Portugal while the search continues.
