YEKATERINBURG, Russia - Nine people, including four children, died Sunday in a house fire in Russia's Bashkiria Republic.
Eight fire engines were needed to extinguish the intense blaze, Itar-Tass reported.
The cause of the fire remained under investigation though local officials noted the house recently had been condemned as unsatisfactory.
