BEIJING -- A blast tore through a karaoke bar in a town in northeast China, killing at least 25 people and injuring 33 more, it was reported Thursday.
Four of the injured were reported to be serious condition, Xinhua news agency reported Thursday. The cause of the blast was not immediately known.
The explosion occurred Wednesday night in Tianshifu town in Liaoning province.
The Xinhua report, quoting local officials, said the blast was under investigation. No other details were provided.
