LA PAZ, Bolivia - Thousands of admirers of Cuban revolutionary Che Guevara arrived at the scene of his death in the Bolivian jungle.

The Guevara disciples arrived for the five-day "World Che Festival" celebrating the life and accomplishments of the Argentinean doctor-turned revolutionary who aided in the 1959 Cuban revolution that put Fidel Castro in power, Britain's Independent newspaper reported Friday.

Guevara was waging a similar campaign in Bolivia in 1967 when he was killed by Bolivian soldiers.
