BUDAPEST, Hungary -- Hungary’s national airline carrier Malev is likely to suspend its flights to New York and Toronto during winter months in a cost-cutting move.
The move is part of Malev’s reorganization and cost-saving program that includes cutting down unprofitable long-distance flights, the Hungarian news agency MTI reported Thursday.
Passengers with tickets for New York and Toronto would be placed on other airlines, Malev said.
