- My husband and I witnessed the entire ending of the chase. Not only did we see the Troopers beat/abuse on these poor kids. But also watched while one of the Troopers retrieved a bag fro the trunk of their police vehicle and placed it in the passenger area of these kids car. We tried telling what we saw to a Bend Police Officer but he wasn't interested and told us to leave the area. Isn't it just horrible when Police use their power to bust a bunch of innocent teenagers coming home from dinner?

- well, they switched at a 7 11...not while the police were following...at least that's what i've heard from the 5 people in the car

- Well, let's see, Mr. Levitch, if I can figure out where these facts, as you call them, came from (I guess you're ignoring the quotes "police belive" and "allegedly"). Perhaps from Trooper Hyser and the police news release as the writer said? Why would they charge you and your buddy BOTH with drunk driving unless you switched? Oh, thats right - they made that up because it was a slow night, huh? And why would your friends be let go? I don't know ... maybe there weren't underage drunk drivers? Or maybe they didn't have the cocaine?

- I was wondering where you got these "facts." What's in the article is not true, we did not switch during the pursuit and there were three other people in the car who were let go for some reason.
