Johnny Depp sings the Steven Sondheim score with confidence, beauty and with a spot-on Cockney accent. This unique film is excellent for it's genre...Horror. (If horror movies repel you, 'Sweeney Todd...' is not for you.) All the actors work beautifully together to propel this bleak tale to its only possible ending. Tim Burton's considerable success as a director continues.
