- The global warming crowd suggests that we all pay for our carbon "output". What about the other side of the coin? Trees, grass, just about anything green absorbs carbon and reduces global warming. If I own a forested piece of land with lots of trees and my neighbor lives in a condo then am I cleaning the environment more? Shouldn't somebody pay me for cleaning the environment???
