- This is the best argument for taxing the Church I've seen! Iv Churches, Religious Leaders, and their thinly guised associates want a say in the political affairs of America's citizens, then I say make them pay (as any other party or political group must) to play. Perhaps by taxing the monstrous wealth of the Church, we can help offset the tax payers costs of services to illegal aliens. For the life of me, I cannot understand why business and Church leaders insist that immigrant laborers are vital. Obviously, business and Churches alike benefit financially and politically by having increased number of compliant illegals willing to do or say anything for a free ride in America. But, I remain sanguine that encouraging vast numbers of people who are unwilling to work for economic equity and democracy in their native lands, is either the sort of population or social policy we should encourage or accept. What friendly border will there be for America's Citizens to slip across to the "easy life", when our rapidly declining quality of life finally hits bottom? Plain and simple, enforcing our immigration laws, and reducing the numbers of legal immigrants we accept is the only effective means of addressing the illegal alien problem. To do otherwise is social and cultural suicide!
