Once again, the skeptics on ethanol production need to be reminded of the golden opportunities that lie ahead. Consider the ex-tobacco growers converting to corn, soybean, or even sugar cane production to support the ethanol industry. Or how about the coca growers in central and south america getting into the act by converting their fields into ethanol-yielding crops.
As ethanol demand rises, the incentives and benefits will become endless for anyone supporting the renewable fuels industry. Oil drilling, refining and exploration is the only industry that may experience a decline in the long term.
