- Hi, my name if Bernard Woodard of the San Pedro Martir Cooperative Group in Baja Mexico. We have a patent pending the "Process of Importing and Exporting Non-NAFTA goods through a NAFTA port in Baja Mexico and going into, or out of, the USA through a Non-Coastal Port of Entry". Many Mexican Officials have been made aware of this, but they ignore it. We have been working on picking up land in Baja for over 15 years. Basically the way we see it is that Americans will be a part of this port of ports that planned for Baja. As currently proposed by others, the port/s is/are being built to handle freight into the United States, not Mexican. So basically Americans should be involved with its building, operations, and security.
