Since the ban on hunting cougars and bears with dogs was passed the numbers of these animals has skyrocketed.
I am sure that most of the people in large cities are not in harms way, especially since they are the ones who passed this measure and have no idea what it is like to have their pets and livestock killed just as a training exercise for young cougars. They probably never had the pleasure of seeing a cougar walking out of their front yard.
As I see the deer and other wildlife disappear as their numbers increase, the stupidity of this measure 18 seems obvious to me but then I'm not cemented in front of my TV, I am outside.
Everytime I hear about more protection for predators all I have to do is to remember all of my sheep slaughtered with one bite out of each to put these measures into proper perspective.
