Gee....why do you think flight attendants are grumpy and bad mouth the bossess...
Perhaps the 40 % paycut imposed while in bankruptcy? All the while our ceo and directors are getting millions and millions? Yeah perhaps. Working 13-14 hour duty days with nine hours sleep? I will barly make 18,000 this year and have been flying for 8 years. My ceo is getting 26 million for getting us out of bankruptcy, even though he was the ceo that brought us into bankruptcy.
Flight attendats, pilots, gate agents and all airline workers are unhappy about this, and it is affecting job performance, but our company does not care. They care about money in THEIR pockets not ours. The public wants a cheap ticket, and thats what you are getting. Everything else goes up over time, gas, housing, cost of living, but yet our salaries are going down, down, down every year. Do you realize that some flight attendants on reserve that are newly hired could actually qualify for food stamps? Yeah, remember that next time you encounter a grumpy flight attendant. Her house probably went into foreclosure, or most likely he/she cant afford to eat for that week while she is working a 6 day trip, since there is no longer flight attendant crew meals boarded. But yet our CEO gets 26 million for emerging from bankruptcy. And millions and millions for dumping all the stock before entering bankruptcy.
