- re: Pioneer Arcade Recovery of New York. I had a run-in several years ago with these SCUMBAGS. These idiots harassed my mother, father, wife, and myself relentlessly. They put a lien on my house and threatened to have me thrown in jail.
This was for a school loan which was NOT mine, in a state that I had NEVER lived in, for a trade school I had never even heard of. The name on the school loan was the same, but the social security numbers were different.
However it wasn't enough for these scumbags, who obviously only cared about getting their percentage of the recovery amount. They represented themselves as "Federal Collection Agents".
I even tracked down the individual who had attended the school - simply by using google.
The trade school was paid for by his employer, but the school had submitted paperwork to receive the grant funding (without his permission). So the school had been paid twice, the guy who went to the school didn't owe anything, and I didn't owe anything.
These idiots were too stupid to do any type of research on this - they just wanted to be thugs and get their percentage of the money.
I was able to have the lien removed on my house once I provided proof to the title company, and they dismissed it. However, it caused a great deal of embarrassment and effort. They're lucky I didn't sue them.
I agree the federal government is making a HUGE mistake by allowing these low-life stalkers (PIONEER ARCADE CREDIT RECOVERY 877-907-1866) access to taxpayers personal information - and letting them use their gestapo tactics to harass the public.
