- Sorry folks, it does not work. Two of the assailants in this crime should not have been in the country. One was an illegal alien. The other was a visa holder who had committed numerous crimes and should have been deported. The other four are teenagers whoe identity is not being revealed. However, I would bet the farm that their immigration status is highly questionable. Put simply, if those folks had not been in the US, the students might still be alive today. Oh you talk of lack of coordination between Newark police and ICE. You speak of bureaucratic ineptitude. That does not change the facts, if those people had not been in the US, the students might still be alive today.
