or, we could get the hell out of tha region all together.
we could go to war with iran like I said we would three years ago.
I'd be curious to know where this administration thinks it's going to get the troops to fight a four or five front war.

I'd wait for formal proof. I'd not really want to go to war with Iran but I could think of punishment that they wouldn't like. We used to send battleships to "show the flag" and show imaginations possible consequences. Something along the lines, "You want to kill American soldiers" here is a promise, evacuate City XYZ because there won't be a city there after the third day from now.

Whatever takes place needs to be quick. It is hard telling how close they're to having nuclear weapons. They might even have them already we don't really know.

Al-Qaida nukes already in U.S.
Terrorists, bombs smuggled across Mexico border by MS-13 gangsters
WASHINGTON – As London recovers from the latest deadly al-Qaida attack that killed at least 50, top U.S. government officials are contemplating what they consider to be an inevitable and much bigger assault on America – one likely to kill millions, destroy the economy and fundamentally alter the course of history, reports Joseph Farah's G2 Bulletin.
According to captured al-Qaida leaders and documents, the plan is called the "American Hiroshima" and involves the multiple detonation of nuclear weapons already smuggled into the U.S. over the Mexican border with the help of the MS-13 street gang and other organized crime groups.
Al-Qaida has obtained at least 40 nuclear weapons from the former Soviet Union – including suitcase nukes, nuclear mines, artillery shells and even some missile warheads. In addition, documents captured in Afghanistan show al-Qaida had plans to assemble its own nuclear weapons with fissile material it purchased on the black market.
In addition to detonating its own nuclear weapons already planted in the U.S., military sources also say there is evidence to suggest al-Qaida is paying former Russian special forces Spetznaz to assist the terrorist group in locating nuclear weapons formerly concealed inside the U.S. by the Soviet Union during the Cold War. Osama bin Laden's group is also paying nuclear scientists from Russia and Pakistan to maintain its existing nuclear arsenal and assemble additional weapons with the materials it has invested hundreds of millions in procuring over a period of 10 years.

..... <BEGIN QUOTE> "If a 10-kiloton terrorist nuclear weapon explodes beside the New York Stock Exchange or the U.S. Capitol, or in Times Square, as many nuclear experts believe is likely in the next decade, then the next 9/11 commission will write a devastating critique of how we allowed that to happen." -- <END QUOTE : Nicholas Kristof, "The Nuclear Shadow," The New York Times, Aug. 14, 2004>
..... <BEGIN QUOTE : "Council on Foreign Relations">
What kind of damage could a terrorist organization do with a nuclear weapon? Enormous damage. If successfully detonated, a small nuclear weapon would cause the sort of destruction seen at Hiroshima or Nagasaki. With larger, more modern weapons, which are hundreds to thousands of times more powerful, <END QUOTE : http://cfrterrorism.org/weapons/loosenukes2.html
..... <BEGIN QUOTE> The Saudi and Egyptian terrorists who turned hijacked airliners into human-guided missiles had attacked far more than the edifices of the nation's financial and military power. Although not obvious to most watching the unfolding drama, the assault also pulverized the keystone of America's strategic defense policy--the concept of nuclear deterrence. "Deterrence, the promise of massive retaliation against nations, means nothing against shadowy terrorist networks with no nation or citizens to defend,"
<END QUOTE> http://www.popularmechanics.com/science/defense/1281436.html
..... So the bottom line is not so much 'IF' Iran admits to having made a Nuke, .... because they would need a delivery system,.... but what if that 'delivery system' was not an ICBM but rather some hired Terrorists ?
..... So a new focus of concern might be ; 'IF' the Terrorists have Nukes already pre-positioned inside America, or brought in the future, and then detonate a nuke in our nation, WHAT can we as a nation even do about it if the Terrorists have NO nation to counter-attack against ?
..... Something to think about ...
A no brainer....Just put the "peaceful" Muslims on notice that if they do not STOP their "brothers of violence" then they will be annihilated along with all Muslims on the planet. If we can't find the "weeds" in the yard....then you just do away with the whole yard and start over....or not. THEIR CHOICE! Put the hot potato in THEIR HANDS....let THEM decide their own fate! (If anyone thinks a cartoon pissed them off...watch what that kind of option does to them!)
Someday the rest of the world will realize that one cannot negotiate with, nor do business for long, with heathen, superstitious, backward tribes that are not ready to become part of the 21st century planet. We should come home, leave them alone. If THEY cannot leave US alone: Make a glass bowl out of every Muslim controlled country on earth. It's a drastic and distasteful response...but the ONLY one that will END this crap once and for all.

This has been my argument for some time about not just the use of nuclear weapons, but other things as well. As the majority of the population was not alive at the time the bombs were dropped on Japan, the full force of the hardships of living in the Depression, and so on, we forget the necessities of the controls we have to prevent those events from recurring. So, we gradually become bold and remove all the protections we have seeing them as unnecessary. When we have finally removed all the protections that have prevented the Great Depressions from recurring (i.e., Social Security, banking regulations, labor and workplace regulations, safety regulations, graduated income tax, medical care reform, environmental regulation, and even the child welfare programs) in the name of the almighty dollar, when we have removed the protections that keep big business from selling nuclear technology to nations not responsible enough to use it in the name of the almighty dollar (as if WE are "responsible"), when we allow our President to run the executive branch unchecked like a monarch, we must be willing to deal with the consequences of what occurs. Some aspects of libertarianism appeal to me, but not here. It truly makes me sick when the dollar wins out over acknowledging what has happened in the past.
Oh, and anyone wishing to see for themselves what happens with an atomic bomb blast, visit the United Nations Building in New York. They have a statue mede of limestone that was knocked over when one of the bombs was dropped on Japan. The face side of the statue is fine. The back side looks like it was melted. It was enough to convince me we shouldn't use them again. But then again, if it were up to a lot of you out there, you'd close the UN anyway.
Which line of bs would that be? http://www.humaneventsonline.com/article.php?id=12500&o=ANN001 Perhaps you could give us some solid reasons for tolerating the behavior of these stone age savages? As for Dr. Michael Savage, I am unaware of any of his columns. He does have a website and a radio show, the latter with a very large audience of volunteer listeners.
A lot of Muslims, in particular, still think that Hitler was right on, in case you hadn't noticed. Baathists, for instance, fit right in, not to mention the anti-Jew Muslims in Iran, the holocaust deniers, etc. etc. Hitler is/was very popular among Muslims.
Exactly what are we waiting for? Let's start bombing these people before they become a real threat to our safety!
I'm also suprised that Israel hasn't blown up any of these nuclear facilities as of yet. If Iran becomes nuclear capable, they will level Israel without hesitation. _________________ Doug.Miller
