LOCATION: Oregon & Wall, 2:05AM
TO: DRIVER HEADING THE WRONG DIRECTION ON WALL STREET.
SHAME ON YOU, I could have lost my life early Sunday morning, an event that would have devastated my family as this month as we have already experienced 3 deaths, one person was killed by a drunk driver.
Always remember, “Real holiday sprit doesn't come in a glass. Drive Sober."
Or at the very least people, call a cab—it’s just not worth the consequences.

I am soooo tired of everyone blaming drunks for killing ALL drivers.
First lets start out with what is a drunk. 1 beer is NOT drunk. I can suck down a cold brewski in less than 10 seconds on a hot day! I'm I drunk, HELL NO!
But if a cop pulls you over than ANY alcohol in your system gets you a DUI....read the laws if you disagree. Are we maybe over-reacting?
Second...If you "sober driver" cuts off, or loses control, or are just a plain idiot....and cause an accident with someone who has alcohol in their bloodstream, the "drunk" becomes responsible and gets a felony DUI. I'm know you all are muttering "GOOD, he should be tagged a at fault". But if it wasn't for your dumb ass causing the problems on the road, know one would ever have known.
I have been 10 times more dangerous behind the wheel when my wife pisses me off then after I have had a few. In fact the way some of you assholes drive (tail gateing, inconsiderate, racing..) you NEED a "few" in you to CHILL OUT!!!
'So can we all just "GET ALONG"' (Rodney king) and don't target 'drunk' drivers. Driving 45 MPH through a residential area with kids playing in the street is in my opinon 50 times more stupid then having a 'few' beers and going the posted 25. Or perhaps the 'red light runners'.
Lets start encouraging drivers to 'have a few' and relax out there. You could be saving a life.

You were right about any alcohol in your system being subject to ticketing, but it all depends on how you manage your attitude with the cop who nabs you. If you're a total dick, like I'm sure you would be, the cop is going to give you nothing in the way of a break and try to jam you up as hard as possible. I've had friends that just skated by with a .07 and were lucky the cop let them go ahead and drive home or let somebody else in the car take over because they kept it cool. So it is all subjective based on your behavior when you are under the limit. Point being, if you are under .08, get a ticket/arrested anyway, you go to court with the test results and get the charges dropped because you weren't technically breaking the DUI law. Unless of course you are a dick to the judge too... You'd never get off with your anger. You'd probably be that guy who is buzzed at your own hearing.
I've never been in an accident where I was driving. So you can try to lay your BS on me about you being justified if somebody else hits you after you slammed a few beers, but the fact still remains that after drinking, you have no business being on the roads. NONE. ZIP. NADDA. Comprende? ooo Corona time!!
Good luck out there. If I run into you, I'm positive that I'll be stone sober and you'll go to jail even if it normally would have been my fault that you have no car to drive anymore and have to work that little stick on your wheel chair with your chin and your wife has to empty your piss bag. That is if she hangs around much longer with your drunken angry ass getting so mad that you turn into one of the same horrible "dumb ass" drivers you hate with such rage.
