| Saddam was an Iraqi problem. I would have been quite ok with the Iraqi's killing him on their own, but their simply isn't any valid excuse for unilaterally invading a soviergn nation which posed no credible threat, and hadn't verbalised any credible intent - to bring harm to the US. Unless the plan is to go around the world and take out ALL dictators, then it's incredibly hipocritical to just pick and choose. The North Krean nut has a nuclear weapon and has made a credible threat, yet he's left alone, yet Iraq is invaded on some manufactured premise that it possessed WMD's that were not sold to it by the US? Even if the manufactured phony evidence presented to the UN was fact, there was absolutely no mention of any weapons that don't today exist on US soil and in the hands of the US military. Hardly a legal and just reason for invading a country half-a-world away, spending over a trillion dollars of American childrens money, sparking one of the worse out-of-control civil wars in more than a generation, and wasting the lives of about 3000 US soldiers and more than 30,000 US support personnel (who were sickenly hired to do a job in a military theater of operations simply so their deaths would not have to be included in any "official" death totals) and more than 100,000 Iraqi citizens. Saddam was a SOB and a complete asswipe. But it's completely beyond the scope of reason for a member of the world community, and supposed leader, to stoop to his sickeningly lo level. |

In the Arab world, the hood is to make the execution somehow easier for the one to be executed. Another version is that the hood eases the pains of execution for the executioner. If you watch the video closely, his executioners wrap a scarf around his neck. I, assume its to protect the neck from bruising. |

Saddam should have known better than to **** around with the jews.

Yep, Saddam and GW should have gotten together and studied the history of that region of the world since there is an overwhelming amount of evidence pointing to the lack of success at attempts of outsiders to invade in that region of the world. Every world power has both tried and failed. What is it that they say about insanity? Doing the same things over and over yet expecting a different result? |

I think Pelosi was crossing her fingers when she said there wouldnt be an IMPEACHMENT, she said NOTHING about a CRIMINAL TRIAL for Bush and Co.

| I don't believe that Saddam was executed because there were masked men they could have been bought offand the video was cut off too short, let's all agree Saddam has a lot of money and can fake anything. I think this is all a fake and he is still alive until I see the the execution from begining to end and see him snap his filthy head off. Otherwise to me he is still alive , probably under anouther hole in the ground. |
