I placed an order online for 5 items, among them a 30 AMP, 25' extention cord, and over-the-door towel rack and a Flo-Jet mascerator pump. According to the email, my entire order had shipped UPS with a single tracking number. There was only one box, and inside was only two of the 5 items I ordered, and one of those two was wrong. They sent me a 50 amp, 30' cord not a 30 amp 25' cord. Costs more, but I've no real use for it. The packing slip in the box also said all 5 items were in one shipment.
The CS rep was in a state of denial: "It says here that everything was in that one box!" I said "I know, and if everything was in that one box I wouldn't be calling you." Then "How big was the box?" and "Were there any holes in the box?" Now I expect that mistakes will be made, but how they're ultimately handled is what I'll make my final judgement on. Anyways, the rep couldn't help. After having me on hold for about 10 minutes and finally came back and said they had to talk to their supervisor and would call me back, which hasn't happened yet. |
