Iraqi Prime Minister Maliki Vows To Disarm All Militias

1/6/07 Aljazeera is reporting that Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki has promised a concerted crack-down on armed militias regardless of their sect or politics. He has not, however, endorsed any proposal from President George W. Bush to send in more American troops.
