A 39-year old Bend man -- a convicted felon -- was arrested late Wednesday night after he allegedly violated a restraining order, menaced his wife with a firearm, and made statements threatening to harm himself and others with a gun, police reported.

Two teenaged boys, 16 and 17, were arrested Saturday and lodged in the county juvenile detention facility for allegedly burglarizing a manufactured home in Romaine Village last month, police reported.
Bend Police recovered the various items that were taken February 21 from the home in Romaine Village, a community located in the southern part of Bend, Oregon, Lt. Ken Mannix said.

BEND, Ore. -- Hospital officials and Bend Police on Thursday revealed the identity of the patient, a 51-year old Redmond woman, who, in a suicide attempt, broke away from her escorts, ran up a flight of stairs and jumped from a second-floor balcony to the lobby of St. Charles Medical Center. She died the next day from her injuries.

Police are on the lookout for a woman who allegedly stole a car early Thursday morning from a northeast Bend, Oregon auto dealership, then crashed the stolen vehicle into 21 other cars in the lot before it became wedged between two vehicles. The unidentified suspect fled before police arrived.
