The City of Bend City Council and the Tower Theatre Foundation have revised the Tower Theatre Agreement to include offering the use of the facility to other non-profit organizations. The agreement originally allowed for only City use in exchange for a $300,000 capital campaign commitment. Homeowners are reminded by the Bend Fire Department that they are legally and financially responsible for any damage caused due to fire escaping their control. Bend Memorial Clinic has signed a six-year outsourcing agreement with MED3000, Inc. Under the arrangement, MED3OOO, a national healthcare management and technology company, will provide the clinic with practice management information systems as an Application Service Provider (ASP), and will also provide the clinic with revenue cycle management services. A summer-camp counselor has been arrested for harassment of three children and strangulation of a nine-year-old boy, according to the Bend Police Department. Henry A. Early this morning on July 13, Bend Police apprehended a burglar in south Bend on Fishhawk Loop in the Greatwood area. A homeowner surprised James Vogel, a 26 year old Bend resident, as he was attempting to break into his residence.
