Oregon State University (OSU) recently announced the names of students who made the Scholastic Honor Roll for fall term. A total of 554 students earned a perfect 4.0 grade point average (gpa), including twelve from Bend, two from Redmond, and one from Terrebonne.

Voters will decide who will fill four of the seven Bend-La Pine Schools Board seats during the upcoming May 15 election. The seats on the May ballot will include:

The Redmond Education Foundation will be hosting its first annual “Stars in the Sagebrush” event at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 20. Redmond, Ore - The Redmond School District’s Homeless Education Program was chosen as a recipient of the Feed the Children SchoolKidz USA program. The district was selected in part due to the strong partnership between their homeless education program and the Family Access Network (FAN).
Thursday morning a semi truck with over 3,500 backpacks filled with school supplies, hygiene items and non-perishable food items rolled into the school district’s warehouse.
