CENTRAL POINT, Ore – Retention of wild spring chinook on the Rogue River closed June 21 to protect wild fish stocks, state fishery managers announced. Anglers can continue to retain adipose fin-clipped chinook. Carlos Menjivar Sr. was born in El Salvador, moved to the United States in his early 20s and became a staff coach for U.S. Soccer from 1997 to 2002.
