In the last two years, 1,250 Oregon physicians left the workforce. A 53-year old Prineville man was arrested following a raid on his home and vehicles that turned up 16 marijuana plants, growing equipment, and other evidence suggesting he was involved in the sales and manufacture of pot. In cooperation with the National Seatbelt Enforcement Blitz held February 11-17, Prineville Police announced today the success of their local agency’s program.  During the week, seatbelt compliance increased six percent, from 92 to 98 percent.  A total of 33 seatbelt citations were issued during 60 traffic stops, said Chief Eric Bush, with verbal warnings issued for a number of other violations. A 13-year old Eugene-area boy died Saturday afternoon in a skiing accident at Willamette Pass Resort ski area, Oregon State Police (OSP) reported.
