Four Madras men were arrested Wednesday when detectives seized over five ounces of methamphetamine and $10,100 in cash during three drug raids, the Central Oregon Drug Enforcement (CODE) team reported Thursday. In the first case, CODE acted on information they developed Tuesday that suggested Lino Pineda-Torres, 42, was selling large quantities of meth in Jefferson County, and that the suspect was using other people to deliver the product to drug dealers in Deschutes County.   (L-to-R) ... The Humane Society of Central Oregon has received 72 animals since Saturday, badly overcrowding the shelter and making it necessary that a number of animals be transported to Portland.  The shelter is urgently requesting that anyone who has recently lost a dog or cat to come in to reclaim their pet – and to do so as quickly as possible.
