A two-month investigation culminated in a raid at the home of Madras couple Tuesday morning, the seizure of drugs and cash, and the pair’s arrest on multiple drug charges. Firefighters, police and public works personnel scrambled to establish an evacuation plan if one became necessary early Friday after a rail tanker carrying 28,000 gallons of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) derailed in Redmond, Oregon. Two California motorists were arrested Wednesday morning after a detective who stopped to help them with a flat tire became suspicious and placed them under surveillance. A 37-year old Prineville man was arrested Friday evening in connection with an alleged sexual assault at the Walton Lake Sno-park in the Ochoco National Forest in Crook County, Oregon, deputies reported.
