Proposed legislation would protect the public by reducing the dangers of speeding on Florida's highways TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The National Safety Commission praised a proposal in the Legislature Wednesday to protect the public from drivers who think they can speed with impunity by using radar detection devices. INDIANAPOLIS -- A $28 million apartment building construction project in Indianapolis was nearly destroyed by a major fire early Thursday, authorities say. Indianapolis Fire Department Capt.
