Victims of drunk driving incidents are needed to speak on an ongoing panel that helps intoxicated driving offenders realize the pain they’ve inflicted. The talks are coordinated by the Deschutes County District Attorney’s Office and held the last Wednesday evening of each month. Attendees are required $25 to attend. The Oregon Chapter of the Pajama Program, with the help of the Redmond Chamber’s Leadership Redmond, will be collecting pajamas and books during February to benefit Deschutes County children who have been removed from their homes. In an effort to provide better customer service to citizens, Deschutes County’s Community Development now accepts Visa and MasterCard payments for services. Credit card transactions for services are now available in Bend, La Pine and Redmond. A 23-year old Sisters woman received minor injuries in a collision that occurred Tuesday morning on Highway 20 at Tumalo when a van pulled out in front of her vehicle.  Her two-week old daughter and the other driver were unharmed.
