Two computer stores in northeast Bend were burglarized within 24 hours of each other, and police think it is likely that the two are related. Bend Police officers responded to a burglary alarm at PHD Computers at 9:17 a.m. Sunday, and to Click and Fix at 6:35 a.m. on Monday.  Sgt. A California couple and their three children died Friday afternoon in a three-vehicle crash on Highway 97 about fifteen miles south of the Diamond Lake junction, in almost the exact same location where another three-vehicle crash occurred the day before, said authorities. A 20-year old Salem woman was killed Friday afternoon when she lost control of her small car on ice and snow-covered Highway 20 about three miles east of the Santiam Junction, crashing nearly head-on with a commercial truck towing a trailer, said authorities. A series of neighbors and witnesses were instrumental in the capture of a suspect sought in connection with a home burglary in northeast Bend Friday morning, said police. Three Bend teens escaped serious injury when their Jeep lost control and overturned east of Bend Thursday night, said deputies. At about 11:30 p.m. December 28, a Deschutes County Deputy and Bend Fire & Ambulance responded to a report of a single vehicle rollover crash, said Sgt.
