Police officers searched for, located, and arrested a Bend man accused of armed robbery at the Super 8 motel early this morning, authorities reported. Shortly before 3 a.m. February 1, officers responded to the motel at 1275 SE Third Street to a report of an armed robbery that had just occurred, Sgt. Kurt Koester said.   Marc C. A Madras man detectives believe to be involved in large-quantity sales and manufacturing of methamphetamine was arrested Tuesday after driving to a remote location outside of town — ostensibly to retrieve a hidden drug stash — and allegedly making what appeared to be several drug sales.  It is the fifth such arrest in less than a week. Beginning Thursday, February 1 at 10 p.m., Louisiana Street between Bond and Wall Streets will be closed due to the festivities of the LibertyBank WinterFest. A Bend man is in custody, charges against a woman are pending review, and several other suspects are being sought by police following drug raids at two Bend homes Wednesday afternoon and evening, detectives reported.  A total of 270 marijuana plants, more than six pounds of dried marijuana, $30,000 cash, two shotguns, and two pistols were seized during the searches.   Drugs, cash, and weapons were seized when two Bend homes were raided Wednesday.
