The Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a “person of interest” in connection with several instances of suspected theft in the Bend, Redmond, and South County areas where victims have prepaid for firewood purchases which were never delivered. Deschutes County Mental Health Department’s Rainbow Clubhouse program is now selling gift certificates for holiday presents. Money raised through gift certificate sales will be used to support Rainbow Clubhouse program services, and can also be purchased by cash or check to benefit the local homeless shelter, Bethlehem Inn.
