Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife is selling the first of seven custom-made boats this week on eBay, an online auction and shopping website.
The minimum bid is $20,000. Funds raised will help cover continued costs of the Diamond Lake project, including water quality monitoring, fish stocking, and education materials.

The Marine Sport Fishing Regulation will change the minimum legal size for lingcod from 24 inches to 22 inches, and add in a separate daily bag limit of 25 for flatfish, which includes flounders, soles, sanddabs, turbots and halibuts, but not Pacific halibut. Off road motorized travel should not be attempted without proper equipment and checking with local BLM and Forest Service officials regarding motorized access restrictions in effect to protect wintering big game. The two men and one woman who were killed late Friday night in a fiery single vehicle crash in southwest Redmond have been tentatively identified, authorities announced today.
According to Officer Curtis Chambers, Redmond Police were dispatched to SW Canal Boulevard near SW Badger Avenue in Redmond on Dec. 22 about 11:45 p.m. to the report of a single vehicle crash where the vehicle was engulfed in flames. A 30-year old Redmond man was arrested for drunk driving when he rolled his pickup in a single vehicle crash in southwest Redmond early Saturday morning. The driver also was allegedly in unlawful possession of a firearm, said authorities.

Two Oregon State University College of Business students have launched a business to market a product that assists adults and children with cerebral palsy. Jeremy Trebelhorn, a junior specializing in Management Information Systems, designed the support device called the Spencer SkyArm. Tyler Gerding, a sophomore specializing in Entrepreneurship, manages the business aspects of their venture, called 26th Street Technologies.
