A truck transporting large load of bees overturned Sunday afternoon at the junction of Highways 97 and 197, spilling the load onto the road and closing down all lanes of traffic on highway 197. Out of 11,227 national government websites, Deschutes County’s website at www.deschutes.org ranks as one of the Best Government Sites according to Computerworld Magazine in their November 27th issue. Sunriver Resort has been selected by the United States Golf Association as the site of the 2007 USGA Senior Women's Amateur. Two volunteer members are needed for the Governor’s Advisory Committee on Motorcycle Safety, which advises the Governor and the Oregon Department of Transportation’s Safety Division on motorcycle safety issues.
